BABYMONSTER is set to release their third mini-album [CHOOM] and has already made a significant mark with their official debut track 'SHEESH'.
According to YG Entertainment, the music video for 'SHEESH' surpassed 400 million views on YouTube at 3:40 AM on the 17th. This milestone was achieved 747 days after its release on April 1, 2024, making it the fastest debut music video by a K-pop girl group to reach this view count.
The music video quickly soared to the top of YouTube's 'Most Viewed Videos in 24 Hours' and topped the global weekly charts. It set records by reaching 100 million views in 10 days, 200 million views in 33 days, and 300 million views in 186 days.
The track's audio performance was equally impressive. 'SHEESH' appeared on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S chart and the Billboard Global 200 chart for 18 weeks and 14 weeks, respectively. It also maintained a presence on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart for 10 consecutive weeks.
BABYMONSTER's presence on YouTube continues to grow. They are the third most-subscribed K-pop girl group with over 11.6 million subscribers and have produced 15 videos with over 100 million views each. Their official channel has accumulated over 7.9 billion views.
BABYMONSTER will release their mini-album [CHOOM] on May 4th at 6 PM and will promote with the title track of the same name. Starting in June, they will embark on their second world tour, covering five continents. The tour will kick off with a sold-out performance in Seoul, followed by visits to six cities in Japan and stops across Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America, connecting with their global fanbase.
