Actress Oh Yoon-ah (45) is making her return to the big screen after five years, playing the role of 'Ban Seong-hye,' the wife of 'Bong-soo,' who loses his memory in the film . Oh Yoon-ah, who got married in 2007 and announced her divorce in 2015, shared her thoughts on her comeback.

The movie 'Mismatch' is a chaotic family comedy that follows a man who loses his memory in a sudden accident and learns to understand his family anew amidst changed relationships. In the film, Ban Seong-hye, originally Bong-soo's wife, finds herself in the unexpected role of his 'daughter' due to a memory malfunction, driving the emotional core of the story. Oh Yoon-ah, who previously gained media attention in 2021 for her role as the shrewd and cold businesswoman 'Byun Mi-young' in the film , returns to the screen with after about five years.

During a press conference, Oh Yoon-ah expressed, "I felt both excitement and pressure returning to film after such a long time," adding, "But the desire to act again was the strongest motivation for this project." She continued, "I was very excited to meet the audience again, and I tried to act with sincerity." She also revealed that she had deep concerns about her character Ban Seong-hye, stating, "The setup of being a wife who becomes a daughter was unfamiliar and challenging," and "I thought a lot about how convincingly this relationship could be conveyed to the audience."

She further explained, "I tried to focus on making the emotional aspects relatable rather than relying solely on the setup." She emphasized that her chemistry with co-star Oh Dae-hwan was a great support, saying, "Oh Dae-hwan was excellent at reacting, which allowed the emotions to flow naturally," and "The good chemistry on set helped us portray the changes in the relationship smoothly."

She also mentioned, "I portrayed the realistic aspects of a wife based on the responsibilities and emotions I've felt in real life," hoping to create a more relatable character.
