TWICE Nominated for Best Female K-Pop Artist at American Music Awards

K-pop sensation TWICE has been nominated for the American Music Awards (AMA).

According to the list of nominees announced by the AMA on October 14th, TWICE is in the running for the 'Best Female K-Pop Artist' category.

The AMA is considered one of the top three music award ceremonies in the United States, alongside the Grammy Awards and the Billboard Music Awards. This marks TWICE's second nomination at the prestigious event, following their nomination in 2022 for 'Favorite K-Pop Artist'.

Currently, TWICE is successfully conducting their sixth world tour, , with a North American leg that has reaffirmed their popularity in the region. The group has performed 33 shows across 19 cities in North America this year.

TWICE will conclude their North American tour with performances at the Moody Center in Austin on the 17th and 18th. Following this, they will make history as the 'first overseas artist' to hold a solo concert at Japan's Tokyo National Stadium on April 25th, 26th, and 28th, performing to a massive audience of approximately 240,000 fans.
