IU Shares Her Secret to Maintaining Her Figure and Late-Night Snack Recipe

Singer and actress IU (34) has revealed her secret to maintaining her figure.

On the 15th, the 'Chef An Sung-jae' channel released a video titled "IU's Late-Night Snack Recipe: A Guilt-Free Treat for Late Nights."

In the video, IU appeared as a guest, cooking and chatting with An Sung-jae.

IU explained why she manages her meals amidst her busy schedule. "When I get home after work, it's often late at night," she said. "I love high-calorie foods, but I can't keep eating them if I have a schedule ahead."

Previously, IU had shared on her YouTube channel that she maintains a weight of 44kg.

She mentioned her personal late-night snack alternative. "I found this recipe on YouTube," she said. "I like soft textures, and this is low in calories and tasty, so I've made it a few times and it's quite good."

Introducing 'Soft Tofu Cheese Pancakes,' she added, "High-calorie foods are a burden if I have a schedule the next day."

She continued, "I like soft textures, and with soft tofu, it's low in calories, tasty, and feels like it doesn't make you gain much weight, so I make it often."

During the cooking session, questions about her usual eating habits arose. IU confessed, "When I first lived alone, cooking was fun, but I realized I wasn't very good at it," adding, "So at some point, I started eating simply at home."

She also candidly shared her favorite food. "At home, I mostly eat ramen. I love ramen the most," she said, but added, "I can't eat it all the time, so I only have it when I really can't resist."

Meanwhile, IU is currently starring in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Duchess,' which premiered on the 10th, playing the role of 'Sung Hee-joo,' a character from a wealthy family but limited by her social status.
