Comedian Lee Bong-won recently shared an update on his wife Park Mi-sun's health following her battle with breast cancer on the SBS variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereafter 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2').
On the episode aired on the 14th, Lee Bong-won and former baseball player Kim Byung-hyun's 'suspicious meeting' was revealed. Lee Bong-won shared his recent activities, saying, "I've been selling jjambbong and appearing on small business and personal YouTube channels." He then mentioned his wife, Park Mi-sun, saying, "Suddenly, my wife's health deteriorated, so I spent time helping her with hospital visits and treatment."
Park Mi-sun was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in December 2024 and, after a year-long battle, has returned to broadcasting with news of her recovery. Lee Ji-hye commented, "The entire nation was shocked and supported her."
Lee Sang-min expressed gratitude, saying, "I'm really thankful to Mi-sun nuna. Even while she was sick, she worried about my wife's IVF and shared her knowledge and information." When Lee Bong-won expressed doubt, saying, "My wife wouldn't know about IVF," Kim Gu-ra humorously scolded him, "Why do you keep doubting your wife?"
Regarding Park Mi-sun's current condition, Lee Bong-won stated, "The treatment is over, and she's monitoring her condition while taking medication. I'm not the type to take care of things, but if she asks, I do it without complaint. If she wants to go to the hospital or travel, I agree."
Despite being married for 34 years, Lee Bong-won revealed that he and Park Mi-sun still live separately, joking, "Unless it's for a hospital visit, there's no point in me being there."
Meanwhile, Kim Byung-hyun visited Lee Bong-won's jjambbong restaurant with homemade sausages, proposing a collaboration. He said, "I want to propose an MOU. Lee Bong-won is preparing for his 4th and 5th branches, and his restaurant is in department stores, so a sausage and jjambbong collaboration would be great." Lee Bong-won, who sells 400 bowls of jjambbong on weekends, made sausage jjambbong on the spot, prompting Seo Jang-hoon to say, "I really want to try it."
