Kim Hyang-gi plays the role of Yeojoo, an ordinary high school girl by day and a BL novel writer by night. Challenging herself in the comedy genre for the first time, she said, "When I first read the script, it felt very cartoonish, yet the characters were so three-dimensional that each one seemed charming," adding, "I've always admired those who excel in comedy, and through this project, I wanted to bring out the fun in the script and the charm of the characters."

She also shared the efforts she put into her character. Kim Hyang-gi stated, "The character is very three-dimensional, so I focused on developing it. I even cut my hair short because I wanted to be funny," she revealed. She continued, "I wanted to find the image that best suited the character. After much deliberation, I cut my hair, and it surprisingly reminded me of my childhood appearance," she laughed.

'The Absolute Value of Romance' will be released on the 17th at 8 PM.
