On the 14th, the team behind 'In Water' released the film's poster and trailer. The poster captures a scene from the movie, showing Bae Jeong-su (played by Song Sun-mi) taking a break on the lawn in front of a German restaurant, the main setting of the film.

The trailer is creatively shot using a triple exposure technique, giving the impression of overlapping moments. Song Sun-mi's character, Bae Jeong-su, spends an afternoon being interviewed by three young interviewers. The triple exposure technique offers a unique experience, allowing viewers to simultaneously perceive three separate timelines and moments.

'In Water' tells the story of an actress who, after quitting acting post-marriage, returns to the screen through an independent film following her divorce. The film features a cast including Song Sun-mi, Jo Yoon-hee, Park Mi-so, Kim Sun-jin, Oh Yoon-soo, Kang So-i, Ha Sung-guk, and Shin Seok-ho. It was first screened at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival in February, competing in the Panorama section.

Kim Min-hee, who has been in a relationship with director Hong Sang-soo for over a decade, is credited as the production manager for this project. The couple's relationship began during the making of Hong's 2015 film 'Right Now, Wrong Then', and they have collaborated on most of his films since. In April last year, they welcomed a son, and were recently seen taking a stroll in the park with him.
