In this episode, following a tense exchange over a Maltese incident, Kim Yumi checks her feedback email at 2 AM. She expresses her frustration with Shin Soon-rok's lengthy email, saying, "It's exhausting," and noting, "He speaks briefly but writes extensively."
As Kim Yumi reads Shin Soon-rok's email, she is surprised to find the feedback she had been hoping for. Her writer cell exclaims, "This is the feedback I wanted." Despite wanting to reply, her pride cell prevents her from doing so, leaving her in a dilemma.
Kim Yumi sends a brief acknowledgment of the email and heads out. Shin Soon-rok calls her, saying he has something to deliver, leading to a meeting in the parking lot. He offers her a dessert from the previous day and apologizes.
Pleased by the gesture, Kim Yumi wants to express her gratitude but her pride cell intervenes, leading her to say, "You didn't have to do this, but I'll enjoy it." As Shin Soon-rok turns to leave, he mentions seeing her at the next meeting, but Kim Yumi offers him a ride to the publishing house.
Shin Soon-rok accepts the ride, and as he gets in, Kim Yumi regrets her offer, wondering what to talk about during the 20-minute drive. Attempting to break the silence, she speaks to Shin Soon-rok but mistakenly exits the parking lot incorrectly. Shin Soon-rok calms her and offers to drive, taking over the wheel and skillfully resolving the situation, leaving Kim Yumi feeling slightly embarrassed.
