Japanese Idol Takuya Terada's Emotional Family Story Resurfaces, Touching Hearts
Japanese idol-turned-TV personality Takuya Terada's past revelations about his family have resurfaced, garnering support from viewers.

In a past episode of JTBC's 'Non-Summit', Takuya opened up about his father. During the 2014 broadcast, the topic was 'My Father', and Takuya shared, "I've never gone anywhere with my father." He continued, "I was the captain of the baseball team in middle school, but I didn't invite him to my last game before graduation. However, towards the end of the game, I saw him standing in the stands, silently watching me."

Takuya recalled, "It was the first time he came to see me play baseball. I was so happy and touched." Fellow panelist Jun Hyun-moo added, "Takuya didn't even know his father's occupation." Takuya explained, "I knew he used to be a sushi chef, but after his business failed, he took on another job. I never asked, and we never talked on the phone."

When other panelists expressed confusion, Takuya admitted, "I didn't really like my father. My mother cried because of him." Comedian Yoo Se-yoon related, sharing his own experience, "My mother confided in me because she had no one else, which led to resentment towards my father. But as I grew older, I realized the differences in their perspectives."

Yoo Se-yoon added, "It's between two adults, and as a child, I realized I didn't need to share that resentment. Takuya's father might be waiting for him to reach out." Takuya responded with a smile, "I'm not sure."

Viewers have recently commented, "It seems like he's talking about his father now," "Teenage years can be like that," "As a fan, I support Takuya," "Stay strong and succeed, Takuya," and "I admire his perseverance and hard work."

Previously, Takuya shared his family story on KBS2TV's 'Mr. House Husband' and 'Immortal Songs'. He revealed, "I parted ways with my father in third grade, and a stepfather came into my life." Takuya expressed gratitude for his stepfather, saying, "I thought it was natural for him to raise me, but now I realize it wasn't."

Takuya's reunion with his biological father after 25 years moved viewers, as he also welcomed his younger brother from Japan. Takuya cautiously asked his brother about his feelings, and his brother's mature and honest response left Takuya speechless, overwhelmed with emotions.
