Ji Soo-yeon has been cast in tvN's upcoming weekend drama 'Secret Audit' (directed by Lee Soo-hyun, written by Yeo Eun-ho, created by Yang Hee-seung, produced by Studio Dragon & The Modori). 'Secret Audit' is a thrilling romance centered around charismatic audit manager Joo In-ah (played by Shin Hye-sun), who harbors a secret, and top auditor No Gi-jun (played by Gong Myung), who is suddenly demoted to handling internal misconduct cases.
In the drama, Ji Soo-yeon takes on the role of Oh Hyun-young, the eldest daughter of the Sesan Group and wife of Jeon Jae-yeol (played by Kim Jae-wook). As the heir to a family dominating the media market, she is the partner in a strategic marriage chosen by Jeon Jae-yeol to survive in the Haemu Group. Her character is known for getting what she wants and has a bold personality. Outwardly, she appears reckless and arrogant, but beneath the surface, she harbors a sense of emptiness, making her a complex character. Ji Soo-yeon is expected to heighten the drama's tension by intricately portraying the subtle relationships and emotional dynamics with Kim Jae-wook.
Ji Soo-yeon debuted as a model at the 2011 Seoul Fashion Week 'Steve J & Yoni P' show and gained recognition through various fashion shows and advertisements. She began her acting career in 2015 with the drama 'Unkind Women' and has since appeared in 'Woman with a Suitcase', 'Solomon's Perjury', 'When the Camellia Blooms', 'Sponsor', 'Marry Me Now', as well as films like 'Cheer Up, Mr. Lee', 'Diva', 'Yaksha', and 'Single in Seoul', showcasing her versatility across genres. Recently, she made a special appearance in JTBC's 'Esquire: Lawyers Dreaming of Lawyers', leaving a strong impression as a character that shakes up the narrative.
