On the 13th, TXT members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai held a media showcase at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul to celebrate the release of their 8th mini-album, '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thorns.'
TXT renewed their contract with BigHit Music last year, and this album marks their first release since the renewal. Soobin expressed, "It's a new feeling since it's our first album after the contract renewal. We will show you our best." Yeonjun added, "We prepared with the mindset of debuting again. I'm curious about how it will be received."
Beomgyu shared, "We have returned with a poignant love story after narrating the growth of a boy. It's already our 8th year. Time flies. Thank you for being with us during this growth." Taehyun stated, "As always in the past 7 years, we will do our best this time as well," showcasing their unwavering passion.
The title track 'Stick With You' is an electro-pop song that captures the yearning to hold onto a love that seems to be ending. The song's poignancy can also be interpreted as the five members' determination towards their dreams. The new album includes a total of six tracks, including the title track, 'Bed of Thorns,' 'Take Me to Nirvana (feat. 万妮达Vinida Weng),' 'So What,' '21st Century Romance,' and 'The Next of Next.'
TXT's 8th mini-album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thorns' will be available on various music streaming sites at 6 PM today.
