Hwang first appeared at the end of episode 7 as Han So-hyun, a character with a poignant backstory who sacrificed herself to save her sister, Han Na-hyun, played by Lee Som. Hwang's portrayal of So-hyun, who possesses Shin-Irang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) to save a victim of school violence and offer guidance, brought the bright and righteous character to life.
The emotional amusement park hug scene between So-hyun and Na-hyun at the end of episode 8 touched viewers' hearts and became a hot topic. Ultimately, So-hyun chose 'family reconciliation' as her final bucket list item. With Shin-Irang's help, she resolved misunderstandings and tensions between Na-hyun and their parents, preparing to depart. Her unwavering dedication to her family, reminiscent of her initial sacrifice to save her sister, delivered a powerful message.
