In the SBS drama 'Shin-i-rang Law Office,' Yoo Yeon-seok's character plays a pivotal role in helping sisters Esom and Hwang Bo-reum-byeol say a heartfelt goodbye after 13 years.
The episode aired on the 10th, directed by Shin Jung-hoon and written by Kim Ga-young and Kang Chul-kyu, showcased Shin-i-rang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) fulfilling the last wish of the deceased Han So-hyun (played by Hwang Bo-reum-byeol) alongside Han Na-hyun (played by Esom). The episode recorded a nationwide rating of 6.7%, with a peak of 7.9% in certain segments, according to Nielsen Korea.
Han Na-hyun, meeting her sister Han So-hyun through Shin-i-rang's body, shared laughter and fulfilled her sister's bucket list, including watching dramas, playing games, and camping under the stars. Despite the joy, Han So-hyun realized that her presence was preventing her sister from moving on, leading her to decide to ascend, but not before ensuring family reconciliation.
Han So-hyun's wish for her mother's pork kimchi stew led Han Na-hyun back home, where their mother (played by Yoon Bok-in) apologized for past grievances. This heartfelt apology allowed the family to embrace each other after 13 years.
Shin-i-rang's compassion extended further as he endured his pork allergy to allow Han So-hyun to enjoy her mother's cooking, highlighting his selflessness.
After fulfilling her role, Han So-hyun left a message through Shin-i-rang, expressing her eternal presence in her sister's heart. Han Na-hyun, in turn, thanked her sister for the memories, leading to a tearful yet beautiful farewell.
With a new diary gifted by her sister, Han Na-hyun decided to start anew, accepting Shin-i-rang's proposal to share an office, hinting at a budding romance.
However, the episode ended on a mysterious note with the appearance of an elderly woman, previously seen in the first episode, raising questions about her connection to the law office.
Additionally, the unexpected actions of Chairman Yang Byung-il (played by Choi Kwang-il), who visited Shin-i-rang's mother's restaurant, added to the intrigue, hinting at revelations about Shin-i-rang's father's past.
