Lee Hee-jin, a former member of the popular K-pop group Baby V.O.X, hit the road for the first time in a luxury foreign car worth approximately $300,000 right after obtaining her driver's license.
On October 9th, the YouTube channel 'Jin Sisters Cross' released a video titled 'Went to Hangang in a $300,000 Maybach Right After Getting My License.' In the video, Lee Hee-jin celebrates her new license by taking on the challenge of driving on actual roads.
On this day, Lee Hee-jin met with fellow former group member Shim Eun-jin in front of a foreign car showroom to check out the latest models. A staff member introduced them to the best-selling imported sedan, explaining that prices start at a minimum of 76.5 million won, going up to 90 million won, and even 120 million won. Lee Hee-jin was visibly shocked, her mouth agape and eyes wide.
As she prepared to drive the high-end foreign car, Lee Hee-jin expressed her concerns, saying, "I took the driving test in a small car, so how am I supposed to handle this big one?" Gripping the steering wheel, she admitted, "I'm scared," but gradually relaxed with Shim Eun-jin's encouragement.
During her first drive, Lee Hee-jin used the lanes widely and occasionally froze up. Upon entering a parking lot, she remarked, "I'm really stressed out, I can't do this," but also praised herself, saying, "Didn't I park pretty well?" Shim Eun-jin, stepping out from the passenger seat, commented, "It's natural for beginners to make mistakes, but since the car is so expensive, I think that's why you're nervous. Once you get used to driving, you'll get the hang of it quickly," adding a warm touch to the moment.
After the video was released, fans expressed their admiration for her bravery and boldness, commenting, "Just watching made my palms sweat," and "As expected from Baby V.O.X, their class is different."
