K-pop sensation Taemin is set to take the stage at the United States' largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, commonly known as 'Coachella'.
Taemin will perform a solo set on the Mojave Stage on April 11 and 18 (local time) in Indio, California. His performance is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM and will last for 50 minutes. This marks a historic moment as Taemin becomes the first Korean male solo artist to be included in Coachella's official lineup and to have a solo performance.
While K-pop groups like BLACKPINK, ATEEZ, and LE SSERAFIM have previously graced the Coachella stage, Taemin plans to showcase his 18 years of experience in the industry with a captivating performance. The Mojave Stage is known for highlighting an artist's unique style, drawing attention from international media and critics.
Taemin recently appeared on the 'Jennifer Hudson Show' on April 1 to get a feel for the local atmosphere. He is set to debut new songs alongside his hit tracks during his Coachella performance. The festival organizers have named Taemin as one of the 'must-see artists' of the year, heightening anticipation.
This event marks Taemin's first major global activity since joining his new agency, Galaxy Corporation. The agency stated, "We are preparing a high-quality performance that will showcase Taemin's artistic spectrum, solidifying his status as an artist."
In addition to Taemin, the Coachella lineup includes groups like BIGBANG and Cats Eye, with the festival being broadcast live worldwide via official YouTube channels.
