On Hyoyeon's YouTube channel 'Hyoyeon's Level Up - Fake Kim Hyoyeon,' a video titled 'Do Only 3rd Gen Do Pigtails? 2.5 Gen Can Be Cute Too!' was uploaded.
In the video, Hyoyeon and Irene act out a scenario where they meet at a shop. Hyoyeon compliments Irene, asking, "You look so pretty today, where are you going?" Irene responds, "I'm going to 'Back to 2015,'" revealing a fictional program schedule.
Hyoyeon excitedly says, "I'm on the same schedule!" She then praises Irene, saying, "Your debut photos and recent photos look the same, it's a hot topic." Irene humbly replies, "It's really the Girls' Generation members who haven't changed," mentioning Taeyeon and Yoona.
When Hyoyeon's name isn't mentioned, she gives Irene a look, prompting Irene to say, "You're truly unique," making Hyoyeon laugh. Hyoyeon then asks, "Is Red Velvet 4th generation?" Irene clarifies, "We're 3rd generation."
Hyoyeon jokes, "We're 2.5 generation, so there's only a 0.5 generation difference." Irene, confused, insists, "Aren't you 2nd generation?" firmly stating Girls' Generation is 2nd generation. Hyoyeon continues to claim they're 2.5 generation, causing laughter.
Hyoyeon teases Irene, saying, "You don't seem to know memes well." Irene retorts, "I think I know a bit more than you," confident in her meme knowledge from hanging out with Red Velvet and aespa members. They engage in a 'meme battle,' but an MZ staff member tells them, "Those memes are outdated," causing everyone to burst into laughter.
Hyoyeon makes a mess with snacks, and Irene starts sweeping up the crumbs. When Hyoyeon, wearing a black skirt, gets white crumbs on her, Irene uses a duster to clean her off.
The two then engage in a hairstyle showdown. Irene decides to wear pigtails like she did during the 'Dumb Dumb' era in 2015. Hyoyeon, finding Irene cute, also does pigtails. Irene questions, "Didn't you not do pigtails in 2015?" Hyoyeon, flustered, insists, "I did pigtails during 'Party.'" Irene doubts this, but Hyoyeon repeatedly claims she did.
Hyoyeon raises her pigtails higher when Irene does, and Irene follows suit, making everyone laugh. Irene jokes, "Aren't you overdoing it?" and says, "I've never seen you with pigtails during 'Party.'" Hyoyeon denies it and leaves for the stage, while Irene sighs at the mess Hyoyeon left behind, picking up crumbs and hair ties with a broom, adding to the humor.
