Previously, in February, Kim Ji-ho shared on her social media that she had finally finished reading Kim Hoon's novel collection 'Alone at a Distance,' which she had borrowed from a public library. However, she faced criticism for underlining passages in the library book with a pen, with comments such as "How could you think of marking a library book?", "It's not even a pencil, it's a pen," and "She should compensate for it."

Kim Ji-ho later apologized, saying, "I apologize to those who were uncomfortable with my careless actions," and explained, "I wanted to remember the last part of the book, and my habit of underlining in my own books slipped out. It's inexcusable."

Meanwhile, Kim Ji-ho married actor Kim Ho-jin, who is five years her senior, in 2001, and they had a daughter in 2004. Last year, she appeared on SBS's 'Shoes Off, Single for Men - Sunshine Ladies' special, where she shared her dating story with Kim Ho-jin.
