Oh Sang-jin showcases his culinary skills in a grand gesture for his wife, Kim So-young, on 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'.
On the upcoming episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang', airing on the 10th at 9:40 PM, 'Butler Oh' Oh Sang-jin embarks on a special mission to support his successful CEO wife, Kim So-young.
Kim So-young recently gave birth to their second son. During the filming, while she was still pregnant, Oh Sang-jin prepared a massive lunchbox for her company employees as a gesture of goodwill. Last year, CEO Kim So-young treated her staff to a luxurious hotel buffet, spending a whopping 7 million won.
In this episode, Oh Sang-jin starts his day early in the kitchen. He explains, “With my wife Kim So-young about to give birth, I’m preparing a tribute lunchbox for her colleagues.” Known for his pasta skills, Oh Sang-jin chose to make 35 servings of Gochujang Tteokbokki Pasta and 35 servings of beef sirloin steak, an impressive feat.
Oh Sang-jin poured his heart into the large-scale cooking, using various secret techniques. The question remains: could he complete the 35 servings of pasta and steak on time and deliver them successfully?
As he cooked, Oh Sang-jin couldn't stop smiling, seemingly fueled by dopamine. His infectious laughter caught the attention of MC Boom, who teased, “Is he relieving stress with large-scale cooking?” and “Our Butler Oh must have been under a lot of stress.” Oh Sang-jin retorted, “Don’t pity me,” turning the studio into a sea of laughter.
Later, Oh Sang-jin personally delivered the 35 servings of lunchboxes. Visiting Kim So-young's office for the first time, he was visibly nervous and attempted to impress the MZ employees with awkward comments, eliciting both sympathy and laughter. Kim So-young reportedly bowed her head in embarrassment. What exactly happened?
