Blue Brown Records, founded by the late singer Wheesung and creative director Myung Sang-woo, is set to debut its first girl group.
The agency released a teaser video on its official social media on the 8th, announcing the birth of the new girl group. The teaser visualizes the group's formation using three symbolic objects, encouraging viewers to interpret the group's identity rather than directly explaining it.
The first video depicts the group's inception through a heart object symbolizing a heart. The subsequent boombox radio video illustrates the group's connection to the outside world. The final teaser features a passport, inviting fans to a new world and expanding the group's activity scope.
The group was formed through 'TEACH ME HOW,' a content collaboration between Muniverse and it's LIVE. The members include Choi Ji-hyun from JTBC's 'R U Next?', Yoon Soo-in from SBS's 'Universe Ticket' and Mnet's 'Unpretty Rapstar: Hip Hop Princess,' along with Han Jung-yeon, Lee Da-kyung, and Pan Ryu-in, making a total of five members.
The group's name and specific debut date have not been disclosed yet. However, the SNS account name 'heart5woman' is being highlighted as a key clue to understanding the group's identity. Blue Brown Records plans to release content sequentially in the future.
Blue Brown Records is a label created by the collaboration of Myung Sang-woo and the late Wheesung. They aim to present a group with a distinctive color by combining their accumulated musical experience and production capabilities.
