Popular Japanese YouTuber Zepa has passed away at the age of 26.
On the 6th, an official announcement was made on Zepa's social media, sharing the news of his passing. The post stated, "We are sorry to convey this sudden sad news. Zepa has suddenly left us." It further mentioned, "The funeral was held quietly with only family members in attendance. We sincerely thank you for the deep kindness you showed during his lifetime."
Notably, just five days before his death, Zepa posted a cryptic message on his social media. He wrote, "The average lifespan for alcohol dependence is around 50 years. Half of it has already passed." In the past, Zepa had shown himself drinking high-alcohol canned beverages during live broadcasts, leading to various speculations online about the cause of his death. However, the exact cause of death has not been disclosed.
Zepa was a Japanese YouTuber with approximately 620,000 subscribers. He launched his YouTube channel in April 2022 and gained 150,000 subscribers within six months. He continued to be active, releasing a new video on his channel as recently as the 25th of last month, making the news of his sudden passing a significant shock to his fans.
