BTS Expands South American Tour with Additional Shows in Lima, Santiago, and Buenos Aires

BTS has announced additional dates for their South American tour.

On October 8, BTS revealed through a notice on the global fan platform Weverse that they will be adding one more show each in Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; and Buenos Aires, Argentina, as part of their upcoming South American tour. This brings the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' to a total of 85 shows across 34 cities.

BTS is setting significant milestones in South America. They will be the first Korean artists to perform at Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, Colombia, and Estadio Único de La Plata in Buenos Aires. Additionally, they will be the first Korean group to hold a solo concert at Estadio Nacional in Santiago.

This tour marks BTS's first full-group visit to Colombia, Peru, and Argentina, generating immense excitement among local music fans. In Peru, fans are actively participating in the 'Plant One Million Trees' campaign in the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary and engaging in various activities to prepare for BTS's arrival.

Meanwhile, BTS will kick off the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' on October 9 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. After three days in Goyang, they will head to Japan for performances at the Tokyo Dome on October 17-18. The tour promises an immersive experience with a 360-degree stage setup.

Amidst overwhelming interest, 46 shows, including those in Goyang, Tokyo, North America, and Europe, have already sold out. According to global concert promoter Live Nation, BTS has sold approximately 2.4 million tickets for their 41 North American and European shows alone. They are also making history as the first Korean artists to hold solo concerts at venues like El Paso's Sun Bowl Stadium, Stanford Stadium, Foxborough's Gillette Stadium, Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium, and Arlington's AT&T Stadium.
