BTS continues to showcase their global presence, maintaining their top position on the 'Global 200' and 'Global (Excl. US)' charts for the second consecutive week with 'SWIM'. 'Body to Body' held strong at No. 2 on both charts. Impressively, 13 of the album's tracks, excluding the instrumental 'Seongdeokdaewang Sinjong', have secured spots within the top 30 of the 'Global (Excl. US)' and top 40 of the 'Global 200'. The album's worldwide popularity is evident across various Billboard charts. BTS has dominated the 'Artist 100', 'Digital Song Sales', 'Top Album Sales', and 'Billboard 200' charts for two consecutive weeks. Notably, BTS is the only Korean artist to achieve a two-week consecutive No. 1 on the 'Billboard 200'. They also ranked second in 'World Digital Song Sales' and 'Streaming Songs', and third in 'Top Streaming Albums' and 'Vinyl Albums'.

In Japan, BTS's momentum is equally impressive. According to Oricon on April 8, 'ARIRANG' topped the 'Weekly Streaming Ranking' (April 13 issue, covering March 30 to April 5) with approximately 8.55 million weekly streams, maintaining the No. 1 position for two consecutive weeks. This marks the first time since November 2024 that a foreign artist has held the top spot for two weeks, following 'APT. (ROSÉ & Bruno Mars)'. Previously, BTS has topped this chart with hits like 'Dynamite', 'Film out', 'Butter', 'Permission to Dance', and 'Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)'.

'ARIRANG', BTS's fifth studio album, is their first release in three years and nine months. The title track 'SWIM' conveys a message of perseverance through life's challenges, with RM contributing to the lyrics, offering a candid narrative.
