On the October 7th episode of SBS's variety show 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' (hereafter 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'), the newlywed life of Kim Ji-young and Yoon Soo-young was broadcast.
Yoon Soo-young introduced himself, saying, "I majored in business administration at Korea University. After graduating, I joined a company and later resigned from Kakao."
He continued, "I founded a book club community 11 years ago and have been running it since. It's a service where, much like registering for university courses, you can sign up for book clubs based on your preferences, schedule, and location, allowing members to read, write, and converse together."
Regarding his resignation, he shared, "I felt a sense of crisis that if you can't adapt to the rapidly changing world, you could quickly become obsolete. I thought it would be much safer in the long run to become a competitive person while I was still young."
The couple also shared their love story. Yoon Soo-young revealed that he was introduced to Kim Ji-young by Lee Joo-mi, who appeared with Kim on Channel A's dating show 'Heart Signal 4'. He admitted, "I was smitten and pursued her."
Kim Ji-young added, "I could feel that he was interested in me. He didn't want to let me go home. Initially, I thought I should keep my distance and broke up with him. I actually rejected him more than 10 times."
Yoon Soo-young said, "I don't get stressed by rejection." Kim Ji-young recalled, "The time spent rejecting him accumulated, and I felt indebted, so I agreed to meet him. We met at a cafe, and I found him more interesting and charming than I expected. He has a quirky and lively charm."
Born in 1995, Kim Ji-young is 28 years old this year. She worked as a flight attendant for Korean Air from 2016 and gained attention for her stunning looks when she appeared on 'Heart Signal 4' in 2024.
In October last year, Kim Ji-young revealed her boyfriend on her YouTube channel, and it was later known that her partner was Yoon Soo-young. The couple initially planned to marry in April but moved up their wedding to February 1st due to a premarital pregnancy.
