Actress Nam Bo-ra Shares Her Journey of Faith and Giving in Compassion Interview
Compassion International has released an interview video featuring actress Nam Bo-ra titled 'Stories of Living as Christ' (hereafter 'SOLAC'). In this interview, Nam Bo-ra candidly shares her experiences growing up as the eldest of 13 siblings, the inner changes she underwent, and the insights she gained through giving. Nam Bo-ra married a businessman last May and is expecting to give birth to a son in June this year.

'SOLAC' is a flagship interview series by Compassion Korea that highlights the values of faith and sharing through the lives of Christian celebrities. It is released on the first Thursday of every month and features honest confessions from various figures, including Compassion ambassadors Song Eun-i, Kim Bum-soo, the couple Park Wi & Song Ji-eun, as well as actors Yoon Yoo-sun and Han Sang-jin, expanding their positive influence.

In this interview, Nam Bo-ra confessed the weight of life she bore as the eldest of 13 siblings and the inner changes she experienced during that process. She stated, "There were times when the responsibility that naturally became ingrained in me felt overwhelming," and added, "By letting go of excessive responsibility and reclaiming my place as a child, I finally experienced peace of mind and deeper bonds within my family."

She also shared her thoughts on volunteering, which she has continued for a long time. During a period of personal pain, she began volunteering in a shantytown as a way to find peace of mind. She reflected, "Looking back, I received a lot of comfort and help while volunteering. Over the eight years, my needs were met, and I received the grace to endure that time."

Regarding her recent married life, she said, "Having a steadfast partner in any situation is a great strength," and added, "We pursue a life where we share the same values, do our best in our respective roles, and love each other as we are." Finally, she conveyed, "We are all born with everyone's blessing. It feels like we need to do something to be recognized for our value, but that's not true. I hope everyone loves themselves as they are."
