JYP's Boy Group NEXZ to Release New Album 'Mmchk' on April 27

JYP Entertainment's boy group NEXZ is set to make their first musical appearance of 2026 with the release of their new album on April 27.

NEXZ, consisting of members Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, So Gun, Seita, Huey, and Yuki, announced via their official social media channels on the 6th that they will be releasing their new album 'Mmchk' on April 27.

In the released trailer, the seven members are seen immersed in their own worlds within a shared space. Haru is meticulously stacking a card tower, Huey is engrossed in a book, So Gun is examining a hamburger-shaped jelly, Seita is tossing and catching chalk, Yuki is flicking a lamp on and off, Tomoya is deep in thought, and Yuu is petting a cat, capturing viewers' attention.

The TV in the background plays a public service announcement about dining etiquette, featuring a well-dressed individual explaining proper posture, quiet dining, and dignified behavior. Suddenly, Yuu makes a noise, drawing everyone's attention. The card tower collapses, the chalk breaks in two, and the black cat escapes Yuu's embrace. As the screen begins to flicker, the album name 'Mmchk' appears amid the static, piquing curiosity about the new album with its depiction of NEXZ's seven distinct characters and the intriguing situation that disrupts the serene atmosphere.

Visually captivating and rhythmically pronounced as "Mmchk," the album exudes a unique and mysterious charm. It marks NEXZ's comeback six months after their mini-album 'Beat-Boxer' released in October last year.

NEXZ's new album 'Mmchk' will be available on April 27 at 6 PM.
