On the 6th, Jin Tae-hyun took to Instagram to share, "I've been going through some personal and professional difficulties lately, but I have some wonderful news to share with you all."
He continued, "Our daughter Ji-hye, who calls us mom and dad, achieved a double podium finish by placing third at the Gunsan Saemangeum Marathon, just three weeks after her last podium finish." Jin Tae-hyun expressed his pride in his adopted daughter's remarkable achievement.
The accompanying photos show Jin Tae-hyun celebrating with his daughter, who received a prize of 6 million won, drawing attention. His wife, Park Si-eun, was unable to attend due to filming commitments.
Jin Tae-hyun added, "Despite not fully recovering in three weeks, she participated to gain experience as an elite marathon runner, marking her 10th race."
He further shared, "Five days before the race, our daughter had a bicycle accident requiring five stitches on her chin and caught a cold, yet she persevered and achieved this result. It's truly commendable. We are learning more about being parents."
Jin Tae-hyun married actress Park Si-eun in July 2015. The couple adopted Park Da-vida, a college student, in 2019. They successfully conceived in 2021 but tragically lost their baby 20 days before the due date in 2022. Subsequently, they adopted two more daughters in January last year.
