Actors Park Ha-sun, Kim Dong-hyun, and rapper Nucksal stage an unexpected walkout during filming.
On Monday, April 6, at 8:30 PM, MBC Every1's 'Hidden Eye' will spotlight the shocking case of Jang Jae-jin, who was sentenced to death at a young age for murdering his ex-girlfriend's family and committing sexual assault. The episode will delve into the details and background of Jang Jae-jin's crimes.
The broadcast will cover the case of Jang Jae-jin, the youngest person to be sentenced to death at 24. Jang, who was the president of a university club, assaulted his ex-girlfriend after she broke up with him. When the incident became public, he was forced to resign from his position, leading him to plot revenge against her.
Jang meticulously prepared for his crime, as captured by CCTV in an apartment elevator where he was seen rehearsing lines to disguise himself as a plumber. This allowed him to gain access to the victim's home under false pretenses, where he scouted the layout for his planned attack.
Days later, Jang returned to the victim's home, brutally murdering her parents with premeditated tools. He then lured the victim back home, deceiving her into believing her parents were alive, and committed further crimes, including sexual assault.
Profiler Kwon Il-yong analyzed the case, stating it was driven by a "distorted desire to witness the victim's life crumble." The episode also examines the structural failures that allowed personal anger to escalate into extreme crime.
Meanwhile, rapper Nucksal appeared as a special guest in the studio with MCs Kim Sung-joo, Park Ha-sun, and Kim Dong-hyun. Immersed in the case, Nucksal stood up to find clues, prompting Kim Dong-hyun and Park Ha-sun to join him, resulting in an unexpected 'walkout' situation. Profiler Pyo Chang-won reportedly expressed surprise, calling it an "unprecedented situation."
The episode also features the investigation of the 'Korea Task Force,' which was deployed following the 2025 Cambodia kidnapping and confinement case. The task force apprehended the 'Song Min-ho gang,' known for fraud and sexual exploitation, in a high-risk operation involving illegal firearms, with some team members reportedly leaving farewell notes.
Additionally, 'Kwon Il-yong's Crime Rules' segment covers a 30 million won gold bracelet theft case. The thief snatched the item during a transaction and fled 20 km by taxi, but was caught in an unexpected manner after persistent police pursuit.
