He revealed, "There was a time when I only auditioned for over a year and got rejected more than 100 times," adding, "I really wanted to do this job desperately back then." He continued, "Even now, when I feel like I'm becoming numb, I recall that period," and expressed gratitude for being able to make a living through acting.

Regarding his attitude on set, he said, "I try to get close to the actors I work with," adding, "That way, I can try more natural and diverse approaches." He also revealed his straightforward dating style, saying, "I'm the type to go straight for it," and "Once I feel my feelings are somewhat conveyed, I directly say 'I like you.'" As for his ideal type, he mentioned, "I find it attractive when someone is professional and dedicated to their work," and "I get excited by such people."

Throughout the interview, his human charm was evident. Kang Yoo-seok shared, "I really like jelly," and "Thanks to fans sending me a lot, I have a drawer full at home," he laughed. He added, "I eat one while reading scripts or watching TV," sharing a glimpse of his everyday life.
