Jeong-sook and Young-chul, stars from the popular SBS Plus and ENA reality show 'I Am Solo', have finally tied the knot.
Recently, Jeong-sook from the 29th season shared her excitement on Instagram, expressing her hopes for clear skies in Daegu, similar to the sunny weather in Seoul. She shared her bridal excitement, saying, "It finally feels real after getting my makeup done."
In the photos shared, Young-chul and Jeong-sook are seen looking radiant as they board a train to their wedding venue, exuding trust and affection for each other.
The highlight of the ceremony was the appearance of Nam Gyu-hong, the producer of 'I Am Solo'. He brought along the show's iconic megaphone and delivered a heartfelt and unique speech reminiscent of the show's filming atmosphere.
Nam Gyu-hong humorously advised, "Young-chul must always have breakfast," bringing laughter to the event. As the person who brought the couple together, he added special meaning to the ceremony by officiating it.
During the bouquet toss, fellow contestant Young-ho caught the bouquet thrown by Jeong-sook, outpacing other contenders like Young-sook, Young-ja, Kwang-soo, and Soon-ja, providing guests with a delightful spectacle.
Jeong-sook and Young-chul, who became a couple during the 'Older Woman, Younger Man' special of the 29th season, have maintained a strong relationship and revealed earlier this year that they had already registered their marriage. Jeong-sook, 38, runs an English academy, while Young-chul, 35, works in the management support team of a foreign automotive parts company, showcasing a harmonious three-year age gap relationship.
Young-chul recently appeared on the YouTube channel 'Village Chief Entertainment', where he emotionally stated, "Fate exists, and now that I have received the greatest gift, Jeong-sook, I have no regrets," even discussing plans for their future children, displaying his reliable side as a family man.
Meanwhile, the absence of another couple from the 29th season, Young-soo and Ok-soon, raised questions among guests and fans. The couple was notably missing from the numerous videos and photos shared, and recent reports of them unfollowing each other on social media have sparked speculation about a possible change in their relationship.
Nevertheless, many fellow contestants, including Kwang-soo and Young-ho, attended the wedding, celebrating and blessing Jeong-sook and Young-chul's future as they embarked on a new chapter of their lives amidst cheers from the guests.
