Sang-cheol from the 28th season of 'I Am Solo' has shared the behind-the-scenes story of his pre-marital pregnancy with Jeong-sook.
On the 2nd, the 'I Am Solo' channel released a video titled "The Birth of a Solo Star and Sang-cheol's Video Message | 26th Season Jeong-sook, 28th Season Sang-cheol."
Reflecting on the beginning of their relationship, Sang-cheol recalled, "We met again at a group gathering, and Jeong-sook asked me, 'Why didn't you choose me? Why did you reject me?'" He explained that although they had missed each other during the show, they naturally grew closer afterward.
Their relationship progressed quickly. When asked about the pregnancy, Sang-cheol revealed, "We conceived almost two months into dating." He added, "It wasn't intentional; it was more of an 'implied intention.' We both agreed that if it happened, it was meant to be."
Sang-cheol candidly shared his surprise at the unexpected pregnancy, saying, "I was shocked it happened so quickly. I didn't realize I was capable of this," he laughed.
A particular comment from Jeong-sook was a turning point. Sang-cheol explained, "Around my birthday, she said she wanted to give me a daughter as a gift. Hearing that, I thought, 'Okay, it's an implied intention.'"
Previously, Sang-cheol had drawn attention by revealing why he and Jeong-sook both work. He currently holds an administrative position at a national university hospital, stating, "I continue to work because I lack the ability," sharing his realistic concerns.
Sang-cheol appeared on the 28th season of 'I Am Solo' during a special episode for divorced singles, where he met Jeong-sook. Their revelation of a pre-marital pregnancy after the show garnered significant attention. The couple married in December last year and are now expecting their first child. Jeong-sook recently completed her accounting season and is on leave, with the baby due on April 28th.
