NewJeans' 'Ditto' Surpasses 900 Million Streams Amid Legal Dispute

Despite ongoing legal disputes, NewJeans' track 'Ditto' continues to showcase its streaming power.

According to global audio and music streaming platform Spotify, as of November 1st, the song 'Ditto' from NewJeans' single album 'OMG' has been streamed 901,684,500 times. This marks the group's second track to surpass 900 million streams, following the album's title track 'OMG'.

Released on December 19, 2022, 'Ditto' is a reinterpretation of the Baltimore club dance music genre infused with NewJeans' unique style. The track is characterized by its dreamy humming, warm sound, and the members' soothing vocals. In South Korea, 'Ditto' topped the Melon annual chart in 2023.

It won the 'Best K-Pop Song in Japan' award at the 'Music Award Japan 2025' in May last year and became the first K-pop girl group song to receive a 'Triple Platinum' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan in the streaming category, with over 300 million streams, in October.
