Kim Ha-on has emerged as the winner of 'Show Me the Money 12'. This season marked the return of the popular hip-hop competition after a four-year hiatus since season 11 ended in 2022, drawing significant attention from hip-hop fans even before it aired.

The final stage of Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 12', which aired live on the evening of the 2nd, featured the top five contestants: Kim Ha-on, Now I Am Young, Tray B, Millie, and Mason Home, battling it out for the ultimate prize. This season saw fierce competition with approximately 36,000 applicants, culminating in a highly anticipated finale.

The performances were a showcase of each contestant's unique style. Mason Home from the Gray and Loco team kicked off the show with the new track 'OKA', featuring Code Kunst, Dimo Rex, and Woo Won-jae. Millie, the only female contestant, impressed with her 'MSG' performance, delivering Korean lyrics with ease and making a strong impression.

Tray B from the Lil Moshpit and Jay Park team elevated the energy with 'NEW NEW', supported by Lee Young-ji and Big Naughty. Now I Am Young from the Jay Tong and Hucky team performed 'Now I Am Young', a song that highlighted his personal story without any featured artists, emphasizing authenticity.

Finally, Kim Ha-on from the Zico and Crush team delivered a high-caliber performance with 'R.I.L+King's Gambit'. Dynamic Duo's Gaeko and Vinxen joined him on stage, evoking memories of their connection from 'High School Rapper 2'.

The final results were determined by combining on-site votes and real-time text votes. Kim Ha-on scored the highest in both categories, securing the victory and the grand prize of 100 million won. Now I Am Young took second place, followed by Tray B in third, Millie in fourth, and Mason Home in fifth.

Upon winning, Kim Ha-on expressed, "There were many steps to reach this stage, but I ran for this moment. I am grateful to Zico and Crush, and to my family who always believed in me." His parents, present at the venue, shed tears of joy as they witnessed their son's triumph, and Kim Ha-on presented them with a bouquet, creating a touching scene.

He also shared, "When I decided to drop out at 18, there must have been a lot of worries, but thank you for believing in me until the end," showing his affection for his family. He added, "Please look forward to my future endeavors," raising expectations for his upcoming activities.

Kim Ha-on's victory in 'Show Me the Money 12' follows his win in 'High School Rapper 2' in 2018, making him a double titleholder in both programs. This achievement mirrors that of Lee Young-ji, the winner of 'High School Rapper 3', who also won 'Show Me the Money 11', marking the emergence of another double crown holder.
