The upcoming episode of 'Brave Detectives 5' on tcast E Channel will reveal the chilling details of a kidnapping case that escalated into murder. Airing on the 3rd, the second episode features Detective Kim Myeon-jung, former Commissioner Yoon Wae-chul, and Inspector Kim Jin-soo as they disclose their investigation logs.
The episode kicks off with an unbelievable kidnapping incident at a bustling airport. The owner of a golf course, his son, and their driver vanished in an instant from a crowded area near the airport. The entire scene was captured on CCTV.
A vehicle stopped in front of them at a crosswalk, quickly loading the three men and fleeing the scene. The investigation revealed that the car was rented by a gangster wanted for murder. However, it was later discovered that the suspect's identity had been stolen, leading the case into a new phase.
The case was widely reported in the media as a public manhunt ensued. Just three hours after the incident, news broke that the victims had escaped on their own, sparking suspicions of a 'staged act.' However, the victims claimed they were detained by the National Intelligence Service on espionage charges, and clues found at the scene suggested it was not a hoax. The case, initially appearing as a simple kidnapping, gradually revealed the perpetrators' horrific plans and unexpected identities.
The episode also highlights another case initiated by a report of a missing sister. After informing her family she would return home soon from her boyfriend's house, she disappeared overnight with her phone turned off. Her boyfriend claimed ignorance of her whereabouts, and it was discovered that cash was withdrawn from her account four times, approximately four hours after her last contact.
The case escalated into a serious crime investigation, with CCTV footage capturing a masked and hatted man. It was suspected that someone kidnapped her for money. On the fourth day of her disappearance, a severely decomposed female body was found on the highway shoulder, leading the case to a shocking conclusion. Yoon Doo-joon expressed horror, saying, “It’s too creepy,” while Kwak Sun-young couldn't hide her anger, stating, “It seems insane.” The truth behind the case, the unexpected identity of the perpetrator, and the shocking words left by the criminal before the crime are all unveiled on 'Brave Detectives 5.'
