The released character stills vividly depict the transformation of the five students whose peaceful lives are shattered by the curse of GIRIGO. Unlike their bright and playful high school selves, they are shown in fear, injured, and drenched in sweat, making desperate choices to escape the curse.

Se-ah (played by Jeon So-young), who first begins to suspect the true nature of GIRIGO, is a talented athlete selected for the national track team. Jeon So-young is set to portray Se-ah, who never gives up on saving her friends, with her unique style.

Na-ri (played by Kang Mi-na) is a wealthy student with idol-like looks who is always in the spotlight at school. She strongly denies Se-ah's claims about GIRIGO's true nature. Kang Mi-na is expected to enhance the immersion by delicately expressing the character's inner turmoil as she denies the unbelievable situation. Geon-woo (played by Baek Sun-ho), popular among friends for his handsome looks and cheerful personality, is Se-ah's secret boyfriend who experiences strange events due to the GIRIGO curse. Baek Sun-ho will intricately portray the emotional journey of protecting Se-ah and uncovering the truth behind the curse amidst growing fear.

Ha-jun (played by Hyun Woo-seok), known as the brain among friends, is skilled with computers and coding. Hyun Woo-seok will enhance the series' immersion by portraying Ha-jun's various attempts to delete GIRIGO, including resetting his phone. Hyung-wook (played by Lee Hyo-je), a playful character who loves hanging out with friends, is the first to get involved with GIRIGO. Lee Hyo-je is expected to intricately depict the character's psychology as he faces the looming fear of death after his wish is granted.

Director Park Yoon-seo commented, "Working with these actors made the horror genre feel more real, which was helpful," raising expectations.

The series 'GIRIGO', which is drawing attention as a fresh YA horror genre, will be released on Netflix on the 24th.
