Mnet's 'Show Me the Money 12' has reached its final stage with the TOP 5 contestants, amidst a record-breaking 36,000 applicants. Following Lee Young-ji's victory in season 11, all eyes are on who will claim the crown this year. The finalists, Kim Ha-on, Now I’m Young, Mason Home, Milli, and Tray B, have expressed their readiness for the final showdown.
Kim Ha-on, a strong contender known for his victory in 'High School Rapper 2', is in the spotlight to see if he can clinch another win in 'Show Me the Money 12'. He has shown exceptional skill throughout the competition, with his track 'TICK TOCK' with Zico and Crush consistently ranking high on the Melon TOP100 chart.
Kim Ha-on stated, "I started with the mindset of going all the way, and I'm grateful for this experience. I've prepared my best for the stage with that gratitude." He added, "I will win for everyone who supported me and for Team Zico & Crush." He also thanked the audience, saying, "Thank you for watching until the end. Stay healthy."
Now I’m Young, who was once eliminated, made a dramatic comeback through the TVING original 'World of Yaksha'. Known for his trendy flow and visuals, he is the sole survivor from the Jay Tong & Hucky Shibaseki team, making it to the finals.
Now I’m Young reflected, "I didn't expect to make it to the finals. I always tried my best in every situation and approached the stage with the mindset of already having won." He added, "In the final stage of 'Show Me the Money 12', I will present the most authentic version of myself and perform with the mindset of winning."
Mason Home also survived through 'World of Yaksha' and reached the finals. He expressed, "I didn't think I could make it to the finals, but as I progressed through each stage, I became more ambitious. I'm very grateful to everyone who helped me get here."
As the only surviving member of the talented Okashi crew, Mason Home stated, "As the 'last piece of Okashi', I will create a stage that proves why I made it this far. I may not be certain of winning, but I have a reason to aim for first place. I want to make my initial goal of 'taking Okashi to the world' a reality through this stage."
Milli, the only global and female rapper among the finalists, has been making waves with her performances. As the first Thai solo artist to perform at Coachella, she showcases her skills in Korean, Thai, and English, along with her dynamic stage presence.
Milli shared, "Despite the pressure, I persevered to reach the finals. Although my schedule was hectic, I gave it my all." She added, "Preparing for the final track was challenging, but I did my best. I hope everyone feels the energy I will pour into this stage."
Tray B has proven his unique presence with consistent skill and determination, making it to the finals. Known for impressing producers with his '60-second rap mission', he was ranked as the second-highest level rapper by participants in the 'Hell's Song Camp'. He secured his spot in the finals with a performance of 'BAOW' alongside Jay Park.
Tray B expressed, "I'm thrilled to have made it to the finals. I aimed for victory from the start and believed in myself to get here." He thanked producers Lil Moshpit and Jay Park, saying, "Thanks to Hyemin and Jaebeom for their support. I will show everything I can in the final stage without regrets."
