On October 1st, the YouTube channel 'Reformed Seo In-young' released a video titled 'Seo In-young's First Home Reveal in Namyangju'. The video showcased her home located in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, for the first time.
Seo In-young explained that she had disposed of most of her luxury items. She said, "I've organized a lot," and when the production team noted the lack of the 'bling-bling' vibe seen in 'We Got Married', she gave a wry smile. She added, "It was sad. They were like my babies," but also noted, "I made quite a bit of money from selling them."
Inside her home, only one Hermes and one Chanel bag remained. Seo In-young confessed, "I had a lot, but I sold them all. I had Hermes bags in every color," and added, "I wanted to get rid of them. I needed money." She continued, "I'm over 40, so I should have at least one. But if needed, I'll sell these too," jokingly asking the production team, "Do you want to buy them?"
She also revealed why she moved to Namyangju. "I lived in Samsung-dong for 20 years and moved here a year ago. My father lives nearby, so I wanted to visit often," she said. "The air is really nice. I never thought I'd live so quietly. I wanted to distance myself a bit from the world."
She recalled, "When I was young, my parents' divorce was actually a relief. But when my stepmother came, there were emotionally challenging times. I had many thoughts at a young age, and it coincided with my adolescence." She added, "But my stepmother is a really good person. She gets along very well with my father now."
She also expressed affection for her family, saying, "Even my biological mother said they were a good match when she was alive. They're living well together." The video ended with a teaser for next week's reveal of her stepmother, with Seo In-young smiling and saying, "I look like my mom, right?"
