This interest translated into the male contestants' choices. Sang-cheol, Kwang-soo, Young-chul, and Young-ho all gravitated towards Young-sook. Out of a total of seven votes, more than half were cast for Young-sook alone. Sang-cheol expressed his admiration, saying, "Her smile when she walked in left an impression on me."

Meanwhile, the focus on Young-sook left the other female contestants struggling. Jung-sook, Ok-soon, Hyun-sook, and Jung-hee received no votes, each recording a 'zero' in the tally. Among the seven male contestants, four chose Young-sook, while the remaining three split their votes between Soon-ja (2 votes) and Young-ja (1 vote), highlighting a stark contrast in fortunes from the very first day.

Additionally, the episode introduced unique male contestants like Young-soo, who appeared with a bruised face, and Young-sik, dubbed '3-second Seo Kang-joon,' further heightening interest in the unfolding romance surrounding 'vote magnet' Young-sook.
