In an interview, Jisoo candidly shared her experiences navigating various fields as a musician with BLACKPINK, a solo artist, and an actress. When asked about her role in the recently released series 'Monthly Boyfriend,' where she played the character Mirae, she said, "It was my first time portraying a character that could realistically exist somewhere. I empathized with Mirae by thinking about what advice I could give her if she were my friend, which helped me focus better." Jisoo has previously faced criticism for her acting skills in leading roles in projects like 'Newtopia' and 'Monthly Boyfriend.'
Reflecting on the year since embarking on her solo career, Jisoo said, "The fact that people resonate with the songs I love is fulfilling as a musician. I learned that fear of new challenges shouldn't stop me, which is a form of growth."
