Lee Hee-jun, known for his versatile acting, once again showcases a new persona. He plays Cha Si-young, an elite prosecutor with sharp judgment and political acumen. While his exterior exudes elegance and composure, he harbors a burning ambition within. To gain his father's approval and enter politics, he leads the investigation into a brutal serial murder case and proposes a collaboration with detective Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo), with whom he shares a complicated past.

The newly released photos reveal Cha Si-young's dual nature. His impeccable suit hints at his perfectionist tendencies, yet his warm manners and gentle smile display his human charm. This blend of cold logic and warm emotion leads to unexpected twists. In another photo, his intense gaze while interrogating a suspect heightens the tension with his commanding charisma.

Lee Hee-jun returns to TV drama after five years, reuniting with Park Hae-soo. He chose 'Scarecrow' for its solid script and director Park Joon-woo. Lee stated, "I have always enjoyed genre works, and the script captivated me from the start. The well-crafted story and trust in director Park made me eager to work on this project."

Regarding his character Cha Si-young, Lee explained, "He's not just a prosecutor solving cases; he's a complex character with deep emotions. His desire for his father's approval, inferiority stemming from his birth story, and his long-standing relationship with Kang Tae-joo all influence his choices and actions. These emotions build up, driving him further into ambition."

'Scarecrow' premieres on April 20th at 10 PM.
