Uhm Jung-hwa, who took on a one-day bonsai workshop, couldn't hide her excitement as she explored various trees. Looking at the trees in small pots, she marveled, "It's like bringing a big tree from outside into a small pot," and "It's like bringing a Japanese garden here." She expressed her fascination with bonsai, saying, "It would be a wonderful gift."

As she began working on the bonsai, Uhm Jung-hwa expressed her apprehension, saying, "I'm scared I might cut the roots. They're so pretty, why cut them?" However, as she listened to the instructions, she gradually immersed herself in the task.

As the work progressed, Uhm Jung-hwa shared, "I don't think about anything else. It's great for clearing your mind. You focus on how to make it prettier." She added, "It feels like I'm forgetting my worries right now," and "When your mind is complicated and sad, try bonsai. It's truly healing," expressing her satisfaction with the therapeutic nature of bonsai work.

Uhm Jung-hwa confessed, "Lately, with the arrival of spring, I've felt both excited and a bit down. There's anxiety about time, realizing another year has passed, getting a year older, and wondering how to fill the fast-moving time."

She continued, "Even though I know there's nothing I can do about it, it's hard to shake off these unnecessary thoughts. It's important to find peace of mind and give yourself time to relax."

This year, Uhm Jung-hwa aims to build a strong physique through exercise and take on running. She concluded, "Instead of worrying about time, I should be excited about the time I have ahead and the experiences I will encounter."
