Yeonjun of the group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is set to shine as a mentor on a fashion survival reality show.
Yeonjun will appear on the upcoming tvN program 'Kill It: Style Creator Showdown' (hereafter referred to as 'Kill It'), which is scheduled to air in May. 'Kill It' is a fashion creator survival show aimed at discovering the most iconic figures in the fashion industry.
Marking his first regular appearance on a variety show, Yeonjun expressed his excitement through his agency, Big Hit Music, saying, "I am honored to be part of such a wonderful program as I love expressing myself through various creative activities. Although the title of mentor feels a bit heavy, I see it as an opportunity to showcase my unique sense of style while learning a lot. I will strive to bring positive energy to the program."
Joining as a fashion mentor, Yeonjun is set to reveal a new side of himself. Having already made a mark in the fashion world, his participation in the show is highly anticipated. Recently, he walked the runway for luxury house Miu Miu's FW26 show in Paris, becoming the first K-pop male artist to do so, showcasing his influence.
'Kill It' is produced by CJ ENM, known for shows like 'Korea's Next Top Model' and 'Project Runway Korea'. Alongside Yeonjun, the mentor lineup includes Jang Yoon-ju, Lee Jong-won, Cha Jung-won, Shin Hyun-ji, Ahn Ah-reum, and Yang Gaeng.
TXT, the group Yeonjun is part of, is set to release their 8th mini-album '7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thornbush' on April 13 at 6 PM. On March 31, they will hold an offline listening session at Seongsu Yul Music in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, where fans will be the first to hear the new album in its entirety. The group has been building anticipation for their comeback with unique promotions, including operating a fake website selling anxiety-relief items and collecting stories under the keyword 'One More Day in a Day' inspired by their new album.
