On the 28th, at 9:50 PM, SBS aired the 6th episode of 'God and Law Office' (directed by Shin Joong-hoon, written by Kim Ga-young and Kang Chul-kyu), where Shin Yi-rang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok), who was urgently arrested for the murder of Jeon Sang-ho (played by Yoon Na-moo), was cleared of charges and pursued the real culprit, Goo Hyo-jung (played by Um Jun-ki), alongside Han Na-hyun (played by Lee Som).
In this episode, Shin Yi-rang was released after proving he was merely the first to discover the body. Despite Park Kyung-hwa's (played by Kim Mi-kyung) dissuasion, he remained determined to represent the voices of the neglected souls. Han Na-hyun, seeking to solve the case using Shin Yi-rang's abilities, offered an apology and proposed collaboration. Shin Yi-rang willingly acted as a bridge between Han Na-hyun and Jeon Sang-ho.
The duo focused on the fact that Jeon Sang-ho's wife, Kim Soo-jung (played by Jung Ga-hee), was in a deep sleep during the incident and did not hear any screams. Jeon Sang-ho revealed that the chamomile tea gifted by Goo Hyo-jung was the cause of her deep sleep and disclosed that Goo Hyo-jung had once harbored feelings for Kim Soo-jung. Han Na-hyun suggested that Goo Hyo-jung might have committed the crime out of resentment towards Director Kim Tae-joon (played by Kim Hong-pa) and a possible motive of jealousy. Jeon Sang-ho provided a crucial clue by recalling the existence of a secret passage without CCTV and identifying the round metal rod mentioned in the autopsy report as a tool Goo Hyo-jung used to abuse animals.
Shin Yi-rang, disguised as a cafeteria cook, infiltrated the research lab to secure the murder weapon and, together with Han Na-hyun, meticulously staged a play to extract a confession from Goo Hyo-jung. Disguised as a shaman, Shin Yi-rang, along with Yoon Bong-soo (played by Jeon Seok-ho) impersonating Jeon Sang-ho, used AI voice technology to psychologically pressure Goo Hyo-jung.
Crucially, when Jeon Sang-ho, who had actually possessed Shin Yi-rang, mentioned the past where he supported Goo Hyo-jung's mother's surgery expenses, Goo Hyo-jung lost his composure and confessed to the crime, claiming he had no murderous intent. Although the play was exposed due to a fire caused by overvoltage, and Goo Hyo-jung attempted to attack Shin Yi-rang, Han Na-hyun released the shelter's guard dogs to subdue him, bringing the situation to an end.
After the case was resolved, Jeon Sang-ho, through Shin Yi-rang's body, completed his mother-in-law's treatment and peacefully departed this world with Matteo (played by Jung Seung-gil) seeing him off. A subtle tension lingered between Shin Yi-rang and Han Na-hyun, but Shin Yi-rang soon sensed a chilling presence in the office, hinting at the arrival of a new spirit, heightening the suspense.
