Comedian Park Myung-soo candidly shared his thoughts on his '4.5-day workweek' comments on his YouTube channel 'Hal Myung-soo'.
On the 27th, a video titled 'I'm Sorry' was uploaded to the 'Hal Myung-soo' YouTube channel, featuring a thumbnail of Park Myung-soo's 'Emergency Press Conference'.
The production team surprised Park with an impromptu press conference. Despite his initial skepticism, asking, "You're not real journalists, right?", he participated in the Q&A session.
When asked to prioritize between his shows 'Hal Myung-soo'+'Radio Show' and 'Infinite Challenge', Park responded, "'Infinite Challenge' is in the past. PD Tae-ho doesn't keep people for long, about 8 weeks." He expressed his affection for his current programs.
Regarding his relationship with the 'Hal Myung-soo' production team, Park humorously stated, "I can't get mad at them; they're all like daughters to me." He clarified a past comment about the production team eating, saying, "I meant they should eat meat, not just rice," which drew laughter.
Reflecting on his past remarks, Park mentioned the '4.5-day workweek' as one he regrets, explaining, "Sometimes my words are conveyed differently. It was a personal opinion, not a rebellion against the government. Who wouldn't want a 4.5-day workweek if salaries were guaranteed? But they're not."
Addressing the 'controversial remarks' suspicion, he stated, "Everyone is entitled to their opinion." When asked what he would do if he became president, Park firmly replied, "I have no intention of entering politics."
On managing anger, Park humorously argued, "Why manage anger? Koreans can't express anger, and it leads to stress. You need to let it out to avoid stress build-up," bringing laughter.
When asked about joining 'Hangout with Yoo', featuring his 'Infinite Challenge' colleagues Yoo Jae-suk and Haha, Park expressed interest but added, "If I join, the show's vibe might change. I don't think a permanent role is suitable."
Park humorously mentioned fellow top entertainers Yoo Jae-suk, Shin Dong-yup, and Tak Jae-hoon, saying, "They have it easy, sitting comfortably, while I work hard on the field," eliciting laughter.
