Eun Ga-eun has been voted as the number one trot singer people want to go spring shopping with.
From March 19 to 25, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female trot singer would you like to go spring shopping with?' Eun Ga-eun emerged as the top choice. Known for finishing in the TOP 7 on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2021, Eun Ga-eun married fellow trot singer Park Hyun-ho, who is five years her junior, last April. She was actively hosting KBS 2Radio's Happy FM 'Eun Ga-eun's Shining Trot' before going on maternity leave in February. Eun Ga-eun announced the birth of her daughter on April 9 and is currently focused on parenting with Park Hyun-ho.
Kim Eui-young secured the second spot. She debuted as a trot singer after reaching the TOP 5 on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2' in 2020. In May last year, she released her fourth single 'STARTrot PART.1', produced by Kim Hyung-seok. The title track 'Do Whatever You Want' is a bright and lively dance trot song that showcases Kim Eui-young's refreshing charm.
Kim Da-hyun took third place. On April 14, she successfully held her first solo concert at KBS Hall in Namcheon-dong, Busan. Kim Da-hyun captivated the audience with her powerful vocals, honed through traditional Korean music, and her modern trot sensibility, delivering both poignant and joyful performances.
Currently, TenAsia's website is hosting polls on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to share earphones with?', 'Which male singer would you like to share earphones with?', 'Which female trot singer would you like to share earphones with?', and 'Which male trot singer would you like to share earphones with?'
