Actors Kim Young-dae, born in 1996, and Lee Na-eun, formerly of April and born in 1999, have been swept up in dating rumors, but both parties have swiftly denied the claims.

On the 26th, representatives from both Kim Young-dae and Lee Na-eun's agencies stated, "The two are just close friends, and the dating rumors are not true."

Previously, a media outlet reported that the two were spotted spending time together at a drugstore near Gwangnaru in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the 25th. The proximity of Gwangjin-gu, where Kim resides, and Guri, where Lee lives, was noted as a convenient route for them to engage in daily activities like exercising together, adding fuel to the dating rumors. However, less than an hour after the report surfaced, both parties issued official statements clarifying their friendship, quelling the controversy.

The two actors first met while playing a couple in the 2019 MBC drama 'Extraordinary You.' Since then, they have continued to build their careers in acting.

Kim Young-dae, who debuted in 2017, gained recognition through the 'Penthouse' series, 'Shooting Stars,' and 'The Forbidden Marriage,' and is currently active with his role in 'Dear X.' He is set to enlist in the military this April. Lee Na-eun, who entered the entertainment industry with the group April, has expanded her career into acting, appearing in various projects such as 'A-Teen' and 'Eye Shopping,' steadily building her filmography.
