Former announcer and broadcaster Kim So-young has caught attention by sharing her pregnancy weight gain journey, revealing a 19kg increase.

On the 25th, Kim So-young posted on her social media, "I'm on the verge of surpassing 70kg. I've been eating two bowls of rice regularly," along with a photo. The photo shows Kim standing on a digital scale wearing black socks, with the scale displaying 69.3kg.

In response to a fan who comforted her by saying, "This is your last chance to eat freely," Kim replied, "White rice seems to be the best for gaining weight." She also shared a screenshot of her mobile pregnancy diary, confirming she is 37 weeks and 3 days pregnant, with only 18 days left until her due date.

Previously, on the 14th, Kim appeared on her YouTube channel discussing her weight changes during pregnancy. She expressed shock, saying, "This is the heaviest I've ever been. I was 55kg before pregnancy, dropped to 51kg during morning sickness, and now I'm 66kg. I've gained over 10kg."

Kim further shared, "I have a month left until delivery, and I'm 66kg. Typically, you can gain 2-3kg in the last month, which means I might see a '7' as the first digit for the first time." Her husband, Oh Sang-jin, calmly reassured her, saying, "That can happen," to which Kim responded, "Oh Sang-jin doesn't seem to care at all."

Kim So-young married fellow announcer Oh Sang-jin in 2017, and they have a daughter. After experiencing a miscarriage, the couple announced their second pregnancy, receiving congratulations from many. Kim is expected to give birth in April.
