TV personality Kim Min-ah has caught attention by sharing her progress on overcoming alcohol addiction, now in its fifth week.
On the 24th, Kim Min-ah posted a short message on her social media, saying, "Nationwide moderation brag. Not a single drink alone," along with a video. In the video, Kim refers to herself as a 'former alcoholic' and mentioned that she began her journey to sobriety on February 19.
She revealed that she successfully lost 4kg, going from 48kg to 44.2kg, after reducing her alcohol intake. Kim proudly shared that she has become a morning person and a health advocate, noting that her mood swings have decreased, allowing her to live as a devoted daughter.
Particularly noteworthy was Kim's confession about leaving her street life behind. The video showed a shocking image of Kim sitting on the ground in a drunken state before her sobriety journey. She humorously remarked on her new sober self, saying, "What is this feeling of not being drunk?"
Kim Min-ah, who previously worked as a weathercaster for JTBC, signed an exclusive contract with SM C&C in 2020, declaring her freelance status. Since then, she has appeared on various shows such as 'Workman' and 'Bloody Game 3,' gaining recognition.
