On the 25th, San E shared a heartfelt post on his Instagram, stating, "I have become a father ㅠ Thank you, God. I am grateful to everyone who congratulated us," along with a touching photo.
In the revealed image, San E is seen wearing medical attire, shedding tears beside his wife and newborn, capturing a moment filled with emotion.
The news prompted a congratulatory comment from producer Rhymer, the ex-husband of broadcaster Ahn Hyun-mo.
Born in 1985, San E is 41 years old this year. He married a non-celebrity two years his junior in September 2002. San E debuted in 2008 and is known for hit songs like "Story of Someone I Know" and "A Midsummer Night's Sweetness." He also gained recognition as a producer on Mnet's hip-hop audition program "Show Me the Money."
However, in a controversial incident on July 28, 2024, around 8:30 PM, San E was involved in an altercation at a park entrance in Mapo-gu. He reportedly told a passerby to "handle the bicycle properly" and subsequently assaulted the individual with a cellphone. The victim suffered a cut near the eye and some dental damage. San E was later booked on charges of aggravated assault in August.
