The victim recounts, "The vehicle roared as it charged towards me," and describes losing consciousness from the shock immediately after the accident. Initially, the perpetrator claimed that the car made strange noises and went out of control, blaming a vehicle defect. However, during the police investigation, it was revealed that the driver mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, admitting to pedal misoperation, which has sparked public outrage.
Adding to the shock, it is revealed that the perpetrator faces no criminal charges despite causing a 12-week injury. The incident occurred outside a road zone, was not classified as a serious injury, and the perpetrator was covered by comprehensive insurance, leading to no charges being filed.
The victim, still struggling with mobility and undergoing psychiatric treatment due to trauma, expresses frustration.
