Yook Sungjae will take on the role of Han Sun-woo in 'Nine to Six', which is scheduled to air in the latter half of 2026. The drama is a relatable office romance that follows the story of Kang I-ji, a rational deputy head of the legal team played by Park Min-young, Han Sun-woo, an intern whose kindness is his strength, and Park Hyun-tae, the director played by Go Soo.
In the drama, Yook Sungjae's character, Han Sun-woo, is an intern in the legal team at Chronic Motors. Known for his quick decision-making and diligence, he earns the trust of his team. Yook Sungjae is expected to portray the quintessential ideal younger man, capturing the heart of the workaholic deputy head, Kang I-ji.
Last year, Yook Sungjae delivered a dual role performance in SBS's 'The Haunted Palace', earning him the Best Actor Award at the '2025 SBS Drama Awards'. He further cemented his unique presence by being named the most anticipated male actor to lead 2026 at the '2026 Korea First Brand Awards'.
'Nine to Six' is set to premiere in the second half of 2026.
